I am an avid humanitarian and tall red head who has a passion for music, new experiences and getting the best price for a cab ride. Recently, I graduated from Brigham Young University with with a Bachelors of Arts in Cultural Anthropology. My love of cultures brought me to rural India, where I conducted research for my senior thesis on ideas of beauty in south India. In addition, during my undergraduate experience I was able to focus on International Development. While in Nepal, I spent  Post-Nepal I work as a volunteer coordinator for a local homeless shelter. I am eagerly waiting for an invitation from the Peace Corps to serve as a volunteer working in the field of community development!

My work in Nepal was varied and exciting. I worked as a program officer, evaluating technology centers around Nepal, even living at working for a significant portion of time in Gorkha in the Tulasi Maher UNESCO Club center, running programs for the Youth Managed Resource Center as well as the community. The experience was enriching and insightful, mainly because of my connections with Community Development Network. The interns and directors are a passionate group of people really dedicated to facilitating and supporting necessary change and social betterment. Both our open content conference and our youth summit were only a success because of CDN and the dynamic Nepali youth.
