Zimbabwe Scholarship Program |

Anywhere Sikochi ("Siko") arrived to the USA for graduate studies because of a scholarship program. Today, that scholarship program is no longer operable. Because of the benefits he's gained through his educational endeavors in America, Siko approached CDN to request support in creating a similar scholarship program to the one that sponsored him.
Siko raised the funds for this scholarship program by creating awareness among friends and colleagues that he had met while in the USA. He realizes that, "where much is given, much is required." Today, Zimbabwean students are benefiting from Siko in the way he did from others. And, perhaps those who are now studying will also "pay forward" the benefits that they now receive.
In truth, these students embody the Southern African concept of ubuntu taught by Desmond Tutu - "my humanity is bound up in your humanity."
